I have known Keith for some years now and I have come to appreciate the wonderful job Keith has done with young people. Keith has a tremendous rapport with young people, as I have been witness to. Keith made sure to attend as many school activities as he can fit into his schedule at our school in the past years. Keith would also attend many of our athletic contests to show the students that he is interested in them. Keith O'Neal was the main speaker at our Sixth Grade DARE Culmination Activity. Before the activity started, Mr. O'Neal mingled and chatted with the students. They seemed to take to him naturally. When Keith addressed the students, he told them stories and made them laugh. It all seemed casual. Soon the tone changed. His message got serious. He repeatedly told them to stay away from drugs. I liked his message and the way he presented it. I would like to have him back to speak to all students. He is a "down to earth guy" with a powerful message. I recommend him highly to speak to young people anywhere.
